I ordered lamb karai and tandoori roti. Both prepared fresh and to my satisfaction.The portion for both was more than adequate. As they were delicious, I kept on eating despite my stomach moaning, saying no more!!They also stock mango lassi, kheer, and rasmalai (South Asian delicacy in dessert)The only observation was that there were a group of young lads who came after their game, I think, were unpleasantly loud. Some of the comment they were sharing (within themselves, I hope!) are downright objectionable and racially offensive.I must admit, initially, their presence made the place lively but not for long.The management should try to find a creative way to balance the lively atmosphere by being mindful of maintaining an accommodating/welcoming atmosphere for all at Azad Tandoori.
I've used Azad's intermittently over the years and have always found the food to be delicious, fulfilling and hot.Last week I decided to pop to my cousin's for a Chin wag and a catch up.When I rang the bell he was thrilled to see me and suggested immediately that we order food from Azad's !!!!I explained that I'd eaten some homemade stew and dumplings, but he enthused that he had an urge and hankering for a 'donner parmo '...I said "why not "... "You deserve it !!! "Anyway... There was a slight mix up and a plain parmo arrived and he was not a happy bunny..No disrespect intended, but could the phone operator please listen more carefully next time because my Cuz was gutted !!!
